Objective: Rejection. How do you manage feelings around your desires not being accepted? How about rejection from the first person you feel in love with?

Everyone is worthy of attraction and having their sexual desires met. Love’s divine ability to release incredible hormones through your body and experience fantastic happiness and rejection’s power to bring upset are forces to explore on your journey to personal growth.

Love is a verb. It requires you to take action in order for it to work. We challenge you to love yourself through rejection and share love with others regardless of age, sex, origin, ethnicity, disability or gender. We are all worthy of love.

The more choices people are given, the more shades of grey they acknowledge. Here I am nearing 35 years old and there are days when pre-2nd wave feminism, ideals prior to the 1960’s & 70’s and all the patriarchal legislation that paved an oppressive road for so many people, (myself included), still creeps up on me. Much of it, still impacting those of us raised in the mid 80’s. The government does care who you love, just who you marry, so they can collect property taxes and estate taxes when someone dies of course. However, you just can’t legislate sexuality. I’m glad some small changes are being made within the US Supreme Court to protect individuals against discrimination based on sexual orientation now. With that beinf said, there is still so much work to be done and woman are still seeing their own sexuality through a dozen lenses.

Eight out of 10 females have fantasized about someone of the same sex.

The Journal of Sex Research

Throughout my research I’ve kept an article from last Valentine ’s Day about the pansexual revolution. I held it close and re-read it often because what I have truly realized is that many people’s sexuality is very fluid. I read about a woman who started a Facebook group for women who came out later in life and has thousands of members now.

Her content, along with dozens of others confirmed for me that while some of us identify as lesbians, other women just parked their sex lives on the back burner for child rearing or swear they were straight until the moment they fell in love with another women.

Part of the reason bisexuality and sexual fluidity are so erased is because they’re seen as muddying the water.
