National Cuddle Up Day
Take a moment today to connect deeply with your partner. Did you know that physical closeness, like cuddling, can enhance intimacy and deepen your bond? It’s more than just an affectionate gesture snuggling has been shown to boost sexual satisfaction, nurture emotional connection, and even support your overall well-being by strengthening your immune system and lowering blood pressure.
This simple yet powerful act is a reminder of the love and care you share, a step toward greater connection and fulfillment in your relationship. You deserve to feel close, understood, and cherished—so why not start with a warm embrace?
If you want to take it to the next level and your cuddles heat up, we recommend the Liberator Regular Fascinator Moisture-Proof Throw. It might resemble a cosy blanket for snuggling, but far sexier than your other soft furnishings. With its secret moisture barrier, this throw creates the perfect option for your sexy adventure, however wet it may get.
International Fetish Day
In support of the BDSM community, this holiday started in the UK in ’08 to decriminalize pornography. Today we stand up together against policies that suppress civil liberties, hell yes we do! Let’s celebrate, wear purple and know that the Born to Be Wild community encourages you to be more open with your sexuality and lifestyle. Often fetishes include bondage and we have a great partnership with one of the most trusted brands on the market for bondage products as LoveHoney. Check out this link for fun ideas: Bondage is a Fetish.
We suggest learning more about yourself too by taking this educational and fun survey. What sex style(s) and acts of BDSM best fits you and your fantasies? Click here to find out.
National Compliment Day
While it may be an unofficial holiday, we believe in celebrating it because kindness is a cornerstone of connection and self-love.
Compliments hold a profound power, capable of brightening someone’s day in an instant. We encourage you to share this beautiful energy by offering a kind word to a friend, a partner, or even a stranger. Let’s create a ripple effect of positivity.
And don’t forget to turn that kindness inward. How do you honor yourself for your achievements and resilience? For me, a simple yet powerful act of self-compliment is bringing a new houseplant into my home. Tending to it, watching it grow and flourish, feels like a tangible representation of my own growth. There’s something deeply rewarding about seeing it thrive to the point of needing a new pot, a beautiful reminder of what can happen with a little nurturing, both for the plant and for myself. Unlike fresh flowers, this living symbol of self-appreciation lasts, growing alongside you on your journey.
February
National Shower with a Friend Day

Let’s take a moment to appreciate this unique holiday, it’s a gentle reminder of the joy in life’s simple, shared moments. Showering with a friend isn’t just about getting clean; it’s about connection, laughter, and embracing the warmth of companionship.
Interestingly, this holiday also brings awareness to something deeper: the impact of chlorine in our water. It’s a chance to reflect on how we care for ourselves and our environment, inspiring us to make choices that protect both our well-being and the world we share.
Galentine’s Day

This holiday holds a special place in my heart. It’s a meaningful reminder to honor the incredible bonds of female friendship, the ones that uplift you, inspire you, and remind you of your own strength and potential.
Take this moment to express gratitude for the amazing women who walk alongside you in your journey. Celebrate their impact on your life, and don’t forget to celebrate yourself too. You are deserving of the same love and appreciation you so freely give to others. Let this be a time to recognize the beauty of connection and the power of embracing your own worth.

National Drink Wine Day
National Drink Wine Day is more than just a celebration; it’s a moment to savor life’s simple pleasures and explore the benefits of a timeless tradition. Red wine, known for its heart-health benefits, can help reduce the risk of heart disease, stroke, and even certain types of cancer. But beyond the science, there’s the joy it brings. From the bright, fruity notes of a Sauvignon Blanc to the rich complexity of a Cabernet blend, every sip tells a story.
Whatever wine speaks to you, let this day be an opportunity to pause, indulge, and reconnect with the things that bring you nourishment and joy. Remember, it’s not just about the wine, it’s about carving out a moment of delight in your journey. And as always, approach this celebration with care and mindfulness.
Explore new flavors, discover new favorites, and drink responsibly.
March
Ancestral Emerald Day
“May the old ways within you blossom in their own sacred timing.” – Dovie Gena

Each March, Ancestral Emerald Day invites us to honor the wisdom traditions that thrived before the conquest and conversion of Saint Patrick, when the druidesses, seeresses, healers, midwives, and lineage-keepers who carried earth-based knowledge through the ages were honored. This day is a remembrance and a reclamation: a celebration of feminine spiritual authority, cyclical time, intuition, and ancestral continuity. Rather than spectacle, we choose intention. Rather than a stereotype, we choose a story.
How We Celebrate:
You are encouraged to pull tarot, ogham, or oracle cards; honor a female ancestor or matrilineal lineage; spend quiet time with trees, stones, or water; wear green intentionally as a symbol of rooted belonging; speak a blessing for the women who kept wisdom alive quietly; and share stories of Celtic goddesses, druids, and healers.
Ancestral Emerald Day is not about going backward; it is about tending what was planted long ago and allowing it to blossom now, in its own sacred timing. 🍀

National Honesty Day
Honesty is all about self empowerment, being real with others and with yourself. In my journey to be the most authentic version of myself, it has been the only path to living a fulfilling life. It’s not easy and I internalize my stress, wondering about what family, friends, and employers will think of me or my opinions and lifestyle.
We all struggle with being honest with ourselves or our partners at times, but can you imagine a relationship with yourself and your lover(s) with raw honesty? What would it feel like if they knew every thought in your head, about yourself, about them? Imagine how much more safe sex you’d have?
Take our 30 day honesty challenge! Walk a life of pure honesty in April and share your story on Instagram and tag us @borntobewildlifestyle. There is no grand gesture, no special merch discount or giveaway, just the pure realization that you’ve started a path to 100% sincerity and knowing that you have been liberated, is all worth it.

June
Pride Month

In June of 1969 the Stonewall Riots in NY were underway & gays were protesting against oppression working for equality that sparked from recent police raids. The first official celebration (Gay Pride Month) took place in 1994 and wasn’t fully recognized until a year later. It was founded by a high school teacher named Rodney Wilson. Learn more about him here. We think he’s a pretty wonderful guy because what started out as a history lesson one day, turned into a passionate mission that lives on stronger today, as it was then.
“The greatest act of advocacy for civil rights for LGBT Americans, is the act of coming out.”
– Rodney Wilson
National Loving Day

This holiday has deep meaning because by 1967, only 16 states remained with anti-miscegenation laws. Alabama was the last state to end illegal inter-racial marriages, bringing this movement to a screeching halt in the US by the year 2000. This case set the precedent to begin fighting for same sex marriages and we love that progress! You can check it out here by reading more on the case: Loving Vs. Virgina.
While it never should have existed in the first place, in our opinion, we are glad this unconstitutional bull shit ended in 2015. Married or not, this day allows couples and partners of all races and ethnicities the freedom to share their love with whoever they choose. The government should never be allowed to discriminate against the people you love. WE LOVE THIS.
July
International Kissing Day

Ah, kissing, it’s such an intimate, beautiful connection. But let’s talk about something we all deal with: oral health. Our founder understands how much confidence and joy come from taking care of yourself, including your smile. Prioritizing dental hygiene isn’t just about appearance; it’s about feeling your best and showing up fully for the moments that matter. Using an electric toothbrush and a water flosser is a simple yet powerful way to keep your teeth sparkling and your breath fresh. After all, you deserve to feel confident, empowered, and ready to share your brightest self with the world.
Thanks to the UK, this holiday was adopted in the 2000’s in the US.
Fun Fact: Did you know Apes, Cats, Dogs & Dolphins kiss?

October
Kink Month

A kink is simply something outside the norm that brings you arousal, and that’s perfectly okay.
Here, we believe in creating a safe, welcoming space for you to explore, share, and learn about what excites you. Whether you’re curious, discovering something new, or diving deeper into your desires, know that this is a judgment-free zone. What may not resonate with you might bring joy and fulfillment to someone else, and that’s the beauty of individuality. There’s no “weird” or “wrong” here, just unique expressions of what makes us human.
Some of the most common kinks include attraction to inanimate objects, like feet, or playful accessories, like plugs with animal tails. If it feels unconventional by society’s standards, it might just fall under the beautiful spectrum of kink. This is your invitation to embrace your authentic self with pride and curiosity, knowing you’re part of a supportive community that celebrates these unique parts of you. Let’s honor and explore what makes you feel alive, this month and always.
National Coming Out Day
We believe that you can come out whenever it feels right for you. But we also love that there’s a special holiday dedicated to celebrating the beautiful and broad spectrum of human sexuality, identity, and fluidity. It’s an empowering time for awareness and acceptance, which is why we’re marking it on our pleasure planner.
Fun Fact: Did you know this educational awareness day was created way back in 1988?
If you’re thinking about coming out or navigating how to share your story, please know you don’t have to do it alone. We invite you to reach out and connect with us. We are here to offer a safe, non-judgmental space, a compassionate ear ready to listen without condition. Should you wish, we can also provide gentle, supportive coaching in a private, ethical, and accepting environment. Your journey is your own, but we would be honored to walk alongside you.
