Details

Dovie earned a degree in Hospitality, Tourism and Event Management, BA. She went on to become an LGBTQ positive CWP – Certified Wedding Planner & CHSP – Certified Hospitality Sales Professional.

Her experience producing large scale luxury corporate meetings, incentive trips & high-end boutique events still left her unfulfilled. She continued her personal journey towards growth and sexual exploration in private, always wondering how to bridge the gap and live her truth. Coaching people on how to better understand themselves, their sexuality, have mind blowing sex and authentic relationships both inspired and motivated her to get certified with American Board of Sexology at the Somatica Institute and launch the company she always dreamed of and ultimately change career paths. While Dovie coaches clients, she is also actively involved in business development and sex positive marketing; consulting for well recognized international companies, including planning professional ethical intimate workshops, retreats and events.

About Her Mission

We are a women owned business and lifestyle forum advocating for and encouraging women and couples towards sex positivity in today’s society by de-stigmatizing alternative lifestyles and sex. Our primary objective is to inspire others to live an authentic and pleasure centered life.

We aspire to accomplish this goal by sharing our somatic sex and relationship coaching tools, professional intimate event experience and hospitality consulting skills combined with personal experiences within communities through consultation, blog posts, education, invigorating tips & tricks and bodily health/wellness suggestions. We aim to continue building an environment where acceptance, love through vulnerability and genuine empathy thrives.

She believes many carry the illusion of knowledge surrounding sex and relationship expectations, from what’s been planted in our minds and cultivated through culture from over 11,000 years ago. Something rooted deep in our social, economic and ethnic heritages, that is more than arduous to dig it out.

Dovie Gena is a professional intimate event consultant with 15+ years of experience planning social, corporate and non-profit events from 50 to 3000+ guests. Her education is rooted in body based sexuality coaching and her foundation is rooted in hospitality with a degree in Hospitality Tourism & Event Management. Hence, why her company plans and energize this community through savvy, educational and sexy meetings & intimate live events. She’s prepared to assist the sex positive events community with their needs in a professional, safe, ethical and consensual setting.

Limerance – A floaty, manic, excited, feeling that often arises after meeting or spending time with someone who you are recently attracted to. Also, a fluttering heart, or butterfly’s in the stomach are symptoms of the feeling. It is similar to infatuation except that it lingers, is usually less lusty and does not have the same negative connotation. Also is usually a temporary state, unlike love. Often thoughts of the person are deep and engaging, resulting in day dreaming. The word was originally founded by a Psychologist in the 1970s. The fact that this word not in the traditional dictionary baffles me.
